It's just like being there ... except Disney-fied!

Okay folks, I'm off to Italy in a few hours, so we'll make today's Disney Question an easy one. What's your favorite "country" in Epcot? I'm going to say Italy just for ... well ... obvious reasons given the circumstances. Remember to show your work.

  1. Tie between the UK (pints in the Rose & Crown) and France (Boulangerie Pâtisserie). Yeah, it's all about the food. :-)

  3. Well, Italy has the ambiance. France has those amazing desserts. But, China has katanas and Nine Dragons. So I guess it's China for me.

But honestly, probably my second favorite thing to do in the parks is just walk around the Nations.

  5. Safe travels!

Definitely not Germany because I was there with an old girlfriend of German descent and that was her favorite. Maybe Mexico because it's far away from Germany and I liked the boat ride and the skeleton band.

  6. Michaelsfishbowl,

I like to eat near the "river" in Mexico and watch the boat ride go by.

  7. I haven't been to Epcot in so long, but I'm going to say France, because as a kid that was the one I really wanted to visit the most, and I remember loving all of it, except for the stupid mime.

Also, Victor have a great time in Italy!!! I'm so jealous. I once visited Venice and Florence and it was my first trip to Europe. There happened to be a regatta happening in Venice the day we arrived and music was being piped out over the canals from somewhere, and I remember thinking that maybe I had accidentally gotten on a flight to Orlando.

  9. France is my favorite (wine), but I have to give a shout out to Norway. I like the Maelstrom ride and also ris krem (rice pudding) that you can get at the Kringle Bakeri is one of my favorite desserts. That said, I love to get a pint in the UK, watch the band play in Canada, watch the acrobats in China, and shop at the mega-store and watch the candy sculptor in Japan.

  10. I'm torn between the UK (love the shops and the Rose and Crown Pub); Canada...LeCellier...need I say more?; and France (that bakery...OMG, I could spend the whole day in there, just sampling everything).

Hmmmm....everything seems to center around food...
